Message	guage aluminum sheet metal and cut (use a dermel tool). Seal in place with some oxygen sensor safe RTV - use some metric screws for turbo engines, due to boost. Pretty easy and cheap. Totally hidden so finished look is no big deal. Other optinon, cut the flanges off the EGR tube ends, seal with RTV and install. Not sure how well this works but just another idea.
